Watercolor Painting

I spent an afternoon walking the gallery
and stopped for a moment to sit
on a simple bench looking out over a wide space,
where I could watch the artists working
on watercolor paintings.

Nina--I note most everyone is nearly speechless--and the few words the commenters here before have used are the ones I would use--WOW. Gorgeous. Lovely.

How glorious a post !! That brings word, imagery, and the rich ,intrinsic beauty of water and those who live on it into sharp perspective -- and with some humor too.

Monet saw such beauty and translated it to canvas -- you have done it with camera .

The metallic leaves on marbled water perfectly combine warm and cool. You have perfect illustrated a peaceful and well-balanced day.

And what lovely paintings they were doing! :-) Your photos are wonderful, as always. I particularly love the last one of the empty bench.

These are beautiful images. You have an incredible way of seeing beauty in places so few would think to look. We are so fortunate that you can share that here and inspire us to look once again.
