A Thought for Monday

I envy your day--
sunshine warm upon your back,
a field of green grass.

I like cows, they are so peaceful but I don't envy them their little paradise, it is so short lived and then off to the slaughter house, no, I'd rather have my own Monday any time.

Cows really seem to know how to enjoy those sunny moments!

Cows lives are too short and too full of pollution. No, I don't envy them.

But these cows?
Content to spend their days outdoors in fresh air and wide open spaces, not a stock yard animal?
Their care is clean and kind.

And today, I envy their place in the sun, while I work in a cubicle, facing a wall until the sun goes down.

I think the same thought each day when I pass the sheep...

I envy their time in the sun but, not their lives. And, I love to hear them moo. I could listen for hours. Have a nice night, Nina~

A very sweet post, Nina. These cows look like they have not a care in the world. I think those who are allowed to roam free in their pasture are getting to be a rare thing. I'm thankful that I see so many of them in my corner of the world. A =sigh= to you from one cubicle to another!
