Brrr!
You know, we all see the national maps and the records being broken, even in the south--but it's a little more real to hear it from the faces we know.
Thanks!

The early morning view out the window was breathtaking! But I couldn't bring myself to venture out to document it!

Minus 27.6 C here on the thermometer in our area of SW Ontario. That is -17 F. Not as cold as the west, but cold enough for me. Wind chills are much colder, but I don't even like to think about that.

KGMom said...

Central PA--6 degrees F.

All these bone-chilling temps in Canada and U.S.

Temps in Fairbanks, Alaska today--44 degrees F.

Huh?

Hi Nina! One good thing about the cold, it blew our Horned Larks in!! They arrived today at the office, and we already put some seed out to entice them to stick around. The office is in Mason, just off I-71 across from Kings Island if you want to catch them.

nina at Nature Remains. said...

Kelly--I actually might!
I've never seen Horned Larks, though I know to look for them now.
