The invitation arrives every day--

and step within,
beyond,

beneath the tree you walked past yesterday, without it.
Those moments when, as if accepting an outstretched hand,
we are drawn in--
to see.
And are held there,
watching.
.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.~Robert Frost

Just reading your beautiful words, I can feel myself slowing down, becoming more observant. There is so much there to see.
As they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder !!! u have it !!! u make us see it toooo !!
Yes, I have said it before. I wish you would write a book. You could make a book with posts you have made. Please include this one because I would like to read it again and again.
The eternal beauty of Mother Nature is that she always has her hand extended for us to respond -- even if is only a feather.
This post reminds us how true it is.
Have you looked closely at the last picture?
There is a special reward waiting for you there!
Kelly--As you an imagine, I find myself often off-task. So many times I'm drawn aside and sit, watching.
Hitch writer--I know you see it, too. And sometimes it is easier to see tha others--but something is always there.
Lisa--the book thing crosses my mind from time to time. But until I find a willing publisher, this is where I'll be writing. Knowing it touches people is very rewarding--no matter in what form. Thanks for the support you always give me.
Cestoady--Yes, always there, always inviting us from our world into hers.

The invitation is there and we must slow down to accept it.I like the way you put things into words, beautiful.
Blessings,Ruth

So poetic! Your words and photos feel as if they are abot to reveal all the secrets of the Universe!
Looks like a paw print in that last pic. A baby bear cub? Probably too early for a baby. A wolf or fox?
Lovely! I enjoyed your words!
Beautiful post! Wonderful words, gorgeous captures! I love the tracks in the snow, and the feather capture with all of the wonderful light!
