Gift from a steel blue sky

As it is so often, I wander in search of something I cannot find.
A desire for here and now.

In its own time, it comes to me.
And waits for me to find it.

A beautiful little gift.

Nina--I love the first photo with the sweep of sky.
Widow skimmer? What an unusual name. Sometimes I wonder why the insects that humans have named receive the names they do.

Nice picture I love looking at blogs from other countries . You get a window into the wildlife from across the world. It's so diverse, I love it. I posted shots of insects that live on the Canal here in the UK check them out and let me know what you think. All welcome.

I see it. discreet, beautiful. good catch. I saw X in a lot of things too.

Nice catch. X is such an inorganic kind of shape, but you found one in nature after all.

This was the most difficult letter for me--I even browsed the dictionary for ideas, to no avail.
I actually walked out and waited to find one, as I wrote--and it gently landed beside me.
The perfect "x" in his wings.
