The One of a Different Perspective

I love a nuthatch.
Neat little package, steel blue.
Diff'rent-looking one.

It is a lovely little bird, isn't it? I also loved Monday's post. For some reason, Explorer would not allow me to open it until today. Glad the bugs are fixed.

Hey Nina- Not sure if the difference is on your side or mine, but I can read your blog today! I wonder if it was a google issue...

Love the Nuthatches!

I love the nuthatches...I have been having problems accessing your blog recently too>

Nina, I couldn't get to your post from yesterday either. I thought the problem was at my end, but since so many others had the same issue, I suspect it wasn't. in any event, today everything seems fine.

A favorite of mine, too. Love the way they look at you upside down from a tree.

Nina--I too love nuthatches. We don't get many in our suburban yard. But first time I saw one here, I was so intrigued watching it hopping up and down the tree trunk. Very sweet.
As for your blog--I don't think I have problems, but it may be images loading for others. I just hit the red X that stops the page loading, and the text comes in fine, with images cancelled out for that view. This may help especially if people have internet access that jams up with lots of data.

I love nuthatches and don't get to see them nearly enough in my backyard. Thanks for sharing your photos.

I too love the Nuthatches though we only have the red breasted ones here.

You have really become quite the photographer over the year I've been following you! A woman of many talents you are. Beautiful capture.

I love the haiku for one of my favorite little birds. They are so busy and always look so neat and tidy.

I was glad to hear from Lynne last night that the site was not working.
As far as I can tell, it's because I did some "redecorating" yesterday--added one of the Google Gadgets they've promoted just recently.
Apparently there's a compatibility issue with Explorer--because Firefox handled it fine. And I think I remember reading that Blogger suggests using Firefox for best access to the blogs.
So,...I've removed the cute little gadget I'd added. I know how frustrating it can be to have sites balk when they're loading.
Thanks to all for sticking with it!
And me!

T.R.--I was able to get very close for those pictures. And the detail of the feathers wowed me--like (s)he's wearing a little shawl!

Feathers are very similar to a blue jay, but obviously much smaller.

What a gorgeous little bird, Nina! I've never seen one of these before.

Glad to be able to load your page again. Aren't programming bugs fun? I hate it when they publish something like that when it hasn't been fully tested for all platforms. (Thus sayeth the programmer, who has NEVER published a buggy app before. Uh-huh, right.)

Hey, this is a haiku! Come join us at One Single Impression this week....

That little nuthatch is a different kind than what we have here.

Yes indeed, I love the Nuthatch too. A fun and cute entertainer going down the tree head first. :)

Here is Minnesota I seldom see a Red-breasted Nuthatch, although this is within their range. Most often it is the White-breasted's here.

I love your blog. I've been "lurking" for a few months. First time commenter.
