This guy's camera shy. He flits in, sips, and flits out--in a flash. I snapped the shot the minute he landed, and barely caught him, before he zipped off. His whole visit the duration of a "click".
And, tonight, when the yard is in the evening darkness, he's perched on the branch--for 5 minutes or more!! Just looking back and forth into the woods--or maybe he's checking to be sure I'm not taking his picture!

This is going to be a weed-pullin, lawn mowin', bird photography kind of day. Not staying inside! Hope the same for you. I'm so glad to have found your blog. I applaud your attack on garlic mustard. If only we could send a pathogen out to it! Something that would find every last plant.
